I’m a British State Pension only recipient.
As such, I simply can’t afford to subscribe to any substack.
Paid for only comment section is effectively censoring chat.
Bit ignominious for a free of censorship forum?
How much wisdom, knowledge & life experience(s) are being missed through that?
I'm also a pensioner and totally agree. I freely subscribed to Dr Malone as just one example where people have to pay to comment. He'd commented on a free page so I took the opportunity of asking him if, even with his horse stud ranch and his many patents in medical field, he still needed more dosh! Another writer had called out many doctors who had also made it for people to have to pay to see all articles and be able to comment. Profiting off genocide he called it. Well, I can now comment on Malone's page for free. However, from knowing absolutely nothing about the real world two years ago and now read up on history of banking, the oil business, allopathic medicine, so called philanthropists, City of London, Knights Templars, Switzerland, World wars and all the geopolitics, it is now so obvious that nothing we are told is the truth. I feel like a kid who has just discovered Santa is not real. When I've tried to explain to people, they either call me an idiot or just shrug their shoulders and continue to go along with the charade, not even interested in finding out if what I said is true.
Pensioners often have the wisdom from real life experiences which accumulate over the years. They have the time to study, reflect and gather ideas on this topic which is new to us all regardless of education (institutionalised?) monetary or status. Therefore money is irrelevant in the free exchange of this new knowledge. Answers come from freedom of speech, creativity and consequently innovation. If you can give money that helps for costs time wise, however, your time is worth more than money.
